Excavation & base
The old surface comes out and the ground is dug to depth. Crushed base goes in and gets compacted in lifts — this is the layer that carries the weight of your vehicles.
Full driveway replacement across Orlando, Kissimmee and Central Florida. From $7/sq ft on areas over 600 sq ft — and most jobs are finished in 2 to 4 days.
Concrete in Florida cracks. Between the heat, the rain and the roots, a poured slab moves, stains and eventually splits — and once it does, the only real fix is to tear it out and pour again.
Pavers behave differently. They sit on a compacted base and flex with the ground instead of fighting it. If a section ever settles, or a utility line has to be reached, individual pavers are lifted and reset — no seams, no patch that never quite matches.
We do the whole job: demolition and haul-off of the old surface, excavation, compacted base, screeded bedding sand, paver installation, concrete edge restraint and joint sand. You get one crew and one number to call.
Same house, same angle from the street. Old surface removed, base rebuilt, tumbled pavers laid with a soldier-course border.
Four stages, and none of them get skipped. What is under the pavers is what decides whether the driveway is still flat in ten years.

The old surface comes out and the ground is dug to depth. Crushed base goes in and gets compacted in lifts — this is the layer that carries the weight of your vehicles.

A bedding layer is screeded flat to grade with a straight edge, holding the slope that carries rainwater off the driveway and away from the house.

Pavers are set in the pattern you chose, cut clean at the edges and along the apron, then compacted into the bedding layer.

A concrete edge restraint locks the perimeter so nothing spreads, joint sand is swept in, and the surface is compacted a final time.
Final price depends on access, the existing surface and the paver you choose. Quotes are free and we walk the property before giving you a number.

Paver driveways start at $7/sq ft for areas over 600 sq ft. Smaller areas are quoted individually, since the setup and mobilization are the same regardless of size. The quote is free.
Most driveways are finished in 2 to 4 days, counting demolition, base and installation. Weather and square footage are what move that number.
Yes. Demolition of the existing surface and haul-off are part of the job, along with base compaction and edge restraint.
Driveway work in the City of Orlando and unincorporated Orange County usually requires a permit, especially at the apron by the street. We pull it and handle the inspection as part of the job.
Yes. Unlike poured concrete, there is no cure time — once the joints are sanded and the surface is compacted, the driveway is ready to use.
